SAPPO was born from a love of streetwear, sneaker culture and the city we call home.

Growing up in Liverpool, trainers and clothing were never just about what you wore. They were part of your identity. From the first pair of trainers you saved up for to the clothes you wanted to wear with them, style was always about more than fashion.

For me, that connection started over 20 years ago, when I bought my first pair of 110s. The Nike Air Max 95 became more than just a trainer — it became part of the culture that inspired me to create something of my own.

That idea eventually became SAPPO.

More Than Just Clothing

SAPPO was created to bring together the things that have always inspired me: sneaker culture, streetwear, music, art and the individuality of the people of Liverpool that make us unique.

I wanted to create clothing that felt right alongside the trainers I've always loved. Pieces with their own identity, influenced by the colours, creativity and attitude of street culture, without losing sight of where it all started.

This isn't about chasing trends or trying to be something we're not. It's about creating something genuine, built from a passion that's been there for years.
